Pastor Search Committee Update #1

The pastor search committee is diligently meeting to select a new pastor. We greatly value your prayers as we move forward. I have been elected Chairman, Bobby Holland is Vice-Chairman and Field Corbitt is the Secretary. We will endeavor to keep the church informed via regular updates as to where we are in
the process. We want the man of God that God is even now preparing to lead us forward. To do so, we have elaborated a survey for the congregation.

A pastor search survey is an essential tool for engaging the congregation in the process of selecting a new spiritual leader. It provides church members and attendees with the opportunity to express their thoughts, priorities, and hopes for the future of the church. By gathering feedback on qualities such as preaching style, leadership abilities, doctrinal beliefs, and pastoral care, the survey helps the search committee gain a clearer understanding of what the congregation values in a pastor. This ensures that the search process is prayerfully guided by the needs and desires of the church body, fostering unity and shared vision as the congregation moves forward together in faith.  

We will also be using the survey and the responses to craft a job description. We need and appreciate your prayers.
