Missions Outreach

First Baptist strives to fulfill Jesus' Great Commission by reaching out to our community in Southwest Florida and also to other states and nations. If you have a desire to help people then there is a place for you in our Outreach Ministries

Mission Teams

Since 2002 First Baptist has been blessed by sending out Mission Teams. Our teams have been to Jamaica, Panama, Romania, East Asia and New Orleans. We are currently preparing a team to go to Manauga, Nicaragua in the summer of 2011 to assist the Florida Baptist Children's Home with its work in that country.

We are also very fortunate to have had individuals from our church serve as missionaries. They have served in Swaziland, Haiti, and Peru, through such organizations as the International Missions Board, the Baptist College of Florida, and Luther Rice University

If your desire is to serve in either long or short term missions then please contact Pastor Frank and he will assist you in beginning your service.

Judgement House

Judgement House is a evangelistic, walk-through, drama presentation. Groups are presented with the Gospel message through a series of scenes which show the offer of salvation and the consequences of following or not following Christ. Each year brings a different story that attempts to relate to the lives of everyday people.

Judgement House usually occurs early in the year, in January or February, so keep an eye on the church's calendar. For more information please check out fbclabelle.org/jh.

Vacation Bible School

Vacation Bible School (VBS) is a week-long summer camp for kids. The kids learn about God's love for them and about missionaries who are serving around the world. They will make crafts, sing songs, and play fun games throughout the day to keep their attention. Every year has a different, colorful theme that will excite and motivate your children. This ministry is open to anyone, you do not have to be a member of First Baptist, and there is never any charge.

Cheer Baskets

Every Thanksgiving and Christmas the ladies of our W.M.U. prepare food baskets for needy families in our community.
