First Baptist PreSchool NewsTuesday, July 06, 2010We are in the middle of the summer which is generally a slower time for us, and we still
have 20 children enrolled. This is more than we had previously predicted, so it is good to see our enrollment continue to exceed our expectations. Praise God for that. We have had a few new students register for the 2010/2011 school year and so far we
have 2 nursery, 3 toddlers, 3 K-2 students, 3 K-3 students and 8 K-4 students. As you know, registration for the next school year is open now. If you know anyone who wants to register their child or if you have a child in the preschool make sure you come by the office to get a registration packet. You may also get a packet from Pastor Frank or Preston at the church office. We look forward to a new school year here at First Baptist Preschool. We are still on track for our Department of Children and Families state licensing.
Hopefully, we will be having our final inspection within the next few weeks. We were recently inspected by the Public Health Department as required by DCF and are working on getting our playground equipment up and providing some shade. Please keep us in prayer as we get ready for those inspections. Ginger Marinell, Preschool Director First Baptist Preschool NewsThursday, June 10, 2010First Baptist Preschool is coming to a close for the school year. Our last day of school is June 8, 2010. This coincides with the Hendry County School calendar. We will start our summer daycare program the next day on June 9th. We will not have a set curriculum during the months of June, July, and August, but we will continue to read Bible stories and have Bible verses during this time. We will start the new 2010/2011 school year on August 23rd 2010 and are accepting registration for Nursery through K-4.
The playground area for the children is coming along. The fence was put up on the weekend of May 22nd. The children are enjoying the extra space and can't wait to have the swings and play ground equipment in place to complete the area. We owe a BIG THANK YOU to Mr. Clay Howard for his time and energy for installing the fence. God Bless you Mr. Howard. Thank you also goes out to Mr. Bryan Beer and Community Christian School for the benches and P.E. equipment that were donated to our playground. We ask that you keep us in prayer as we are in the process of becoming licensed with the Department of Children and Families. We are sending in the application and are told it should not take long since we are already in business. We hope to have the process completed by the end of July.
If you have any questions, concerning our Pre-School call Ginger at 675-2171.

Thank God in advance for the blessings and opportunities He will provide through VBS.
